Oh no Teri. You took a major departure from your typical soap making style on this video. Thrice you "rounded up" your numbers while on the soap calculator web site. You bypassed using your palette board and palette knife to mix your color; my favorite thing to watch you do. Nor did you slant that ruler. Then to my absolute shock, you estimated how much soap batter you initially poured into your soap mold. Of course I am just "ribbing you". lol :) Indeed it was refreshing to see you take such bold risks. I get so tickled and so inspired when I watch you make soap. You are so smart and talented. You are an artist. Thank you for sharing!!!

I have found when I want to save either soap dough or a certain kind of soap for my confetti soap, I use my vaccuum sealer to save them. I don't waste since I can make the bags any size. I have used soap up to 8 months with no problems. The soap was still soft enough for my use. Thanks for the calculating tip. ☺

D would be my first choice, then A,, then B and C, I think. Wonderful video and a nice difference in the confetti soap style - I've only really seen people used grated soap and that tends to end up with the embedded soap colours looking a little muddied and unclear because of the relatively thin pieces... plus the fact that you're measuring everything properly and accurately makes my heart so happy. Like you say, how are you meant to try and replicate a result (or tweak it effectively) if you don't know exactly what you did to create it in the first place? Thank you, as always, for sharing so many of your methods and techniques. 💓

Love this soap. Picked up lots of tips too. I’d love to sell confetti soap with left overs but so complicated in the U.K. with Cosmetic Safety Reports Grrr...

Tree Marie Soapworks I know £180 for 6 soaps to be passed and then you can’t change the recipe at all. Plus we can’t make anything that resembles food or drink. It’s mad.

Watching you mix your colorants with your palette knife is my favorite thing about your videos. 😊 I wish I was able to be more technical and exact with my soap making as you are. My method is more, close my eyes while I sniff my FO and attempt what comes to mind immediately before making.
