You'll need to make sure that the console is set as the master clock for Dante Virtual Sound Card to operate. I think that's on the "setup/global" tab, and you have to select "ext. card" as master clock.

My AES50 port on my x32 is damage because someone didn’t use a shielded cable to set it up. I’m trying to figure out if I can add an x Dante card with a Dante supported stage box to route the audio that way instead.

Are u able to just have virtual sound cards and route to another pc, or you need a mixer that receives them

When you say that you're routing audio from your computer to the X32 at 3:27, do you mean that you are routing audio to the X32 - Edit software, or the X32 mixer itself? Just trying to understand. Thanks a lot!

Hi Collin. Would we need the X Dante Card for the BEHRINGER WING console? On the expansion slot side, Im seeing the dual recording unit. We are planning to purchase the BEHRINGER WING and would love to have the dual recording function, as well as some network capabilities.

I've just bought a X32 rack with the dante expansion card - still waiting for it - and I was asking myself: the dante patch cable and the ethernet cable must be connected to the same router or can they be on two seperate networks? I see you have them connected to the same switch, I was wondering if maybe too many things going on one network may cause issues. I will need to connect to the x32 rack to a tablet via wifi for live purposes. thank you!

If I setup my x32 this way, will all my instruments that are connected to xlr on the x32 route to Dante and back to the x32 than out to the house?

Nope you can just plug it right into your computer. You just need to make sure that your computer's ip is in the same range as your console.

@@voiceactorRU I don't believe so, based on the fact that the network interface for the mixer itself is different. The documentation for IP addressing on the Dante card is lacking.

In my experience, Dante interfaces come with one Dante Virtual Soundcard license. This is my experience with both Soundcraft and Allen & Heath.
