Most likely it will be the same size..bc of the 1.4 now if it was a 1.2..the glass size and diameter might be slightly different..weight should be less..like what they did with the 50mm and even the 35mm GM's..

@@LMNDZ513 Honestly I'm hoping they make it 67mm and similar size and weight to the already existing 24, 35 and 50GM lenses which I own - the original 85 is 8 years old.We have seen what Sony can do in terms of size and weight given their new 50mm 1.4 when compared to the Zeiss 1.4

A6700 is a big miss.. it should've had a stacked sensor, pre-capture, 15-20 fps.. nothing there.. a big sh... I hope there will be A6800 to repair that fail.

@@pentagramyt417 depends what you want it for. For the price it’s the best video apsc hybrid assuming you want autofocus that works. All those stats you mention belong in a more expensive camera

Serious question: what's the benefit of 26MP over 24MP for video? The first version of the ZV-E10 is a video-centric camera.

I love the existing ZV-E10, but that small battery is woefully inadequate. The Z battery (if true) will be a massive improvement.

We all know Sony is not giving us the 85 1.2 GM any time soon only the 1.4 GM II..so in that case I hope TT Artisan or Sigma is working on an 85 1.2 to give us more options to choose from..lol

At this point I'm just waiting for the RX100 VIII. But I guess time will tell whether it'll still be announced or not. As for this camera, maybe it'll be an updated a6400 in disguise? Who knows. Compact cameras is also gonna be the rage again this time.

If the video specs are decent, I suspect this will steal a ton folks away from buying FF. Did you hear that NIKON aka Z6iii. Most folks don't need nor want super high end Video features. Nor to pay $2500 for a 24MP FF camera in 2024. So the price will be KEY here.

@@kingsamvisuals If you shoot a lot of video, the A6700 is a very bad choice. It overheats a lot! I do 95% photo's and what video's I do is very short, but I tried to set up my A6700 as a streaming camera and it shut down after 45 minutes of 1080P streaming over HDMI. Hopefully the E10II fixes that.

@@myblujl7503 Zve-10 II will probably overheat to. Think Sony's thinking is: Want top spec apsc foto's? Buy the A6700. If you are more video centric just buy an fx30. But on the other hand it would also be a sony thing the make the zv-e10 II better at video than it's more expensive big brother haha. There are enough 3rd party fan options on the market to mitigate any overheating hopefully. Otherwise fx30's are great body's for the pricepoint

I don't know how people can enter Sony, I'd really want to leave the system.. There is nothing to offer for the normal budget. Comparing system to Nikon or OM System, there is just a BIG gap.

The bodies are expensive but third party lenses are cheaper

@@kingsamvisuals Yes, but after the expensive body is there lack of computational things.. Or if they exists, they are pretty average. Anyway, in short, the bodies are just too pricey for what they gives. I use A7-IV but I can't imagine there is Z8 just 1k$ more, today I would not even go into Sony as myself again.
