It’s really fun to see all your perspectives on this park. My friends and I all used to skate this park 20 plus years ago when it opened. It was by far our favorite park and we used to shred it. All of us in our mid 40s now have since retired from skateboarding.

On today's episode of "Spoiled brats need a reality check". That is literally one of the coolest parks I've ever seen when you're someone like me who grew up with the only skate park in a 100 miles radius that had one ledge, a flat bar and a quarter.

I’ve actually seen much much worse. There was a skatepark in denver I found that was hiding in some tree coverage. The park wasn’t big so the whole place would be covered in leaves at times.

Sadly that’s how it almost always is, the town puts way more money into everything but the skatepark. It’ll be night time and there’s not a single person at any of the tennis or basketball courts yet the lights are on and then the skatepark is completely dark with people still trying to skate it. Super lame honestly

@Braille Skateboarding I live in Syracuse, NY and there is no skateboard park for locals. They do have skate parks in the suberbs around Syracuse but not in the city. We skaters would get kicked out of downtown, shools, and other spots. The skaters around the city came together and built there own skatepark in a unused tennis court. The city parks even approved of it. Its eithe4r the best homemade skatepark or the worst city approved skatepark. Ormand Spenser Park is where this skate park was built.

My tiny town in Southeast Michigan has two small "skateparks" which are about a 4th this size. They each have like two ramps and a rail, and maybe a stair. I haven't been in them because I can't skate but I know just going past them all the time that they're literally the size of a Walmart bathroom. This park is amazing in comparison.

It really doesn't look that bad... seems to roll fine, got a few nice jumps that you can transition to... My 3 closest park have pavement with 1/2 inch razor sharp stones in it, so if you fall, you really shred your skin... and you can barely roll!

i think you should not call this the worst ever. do a Germany tour, and you will see how bad it can get in relation of spent money and a skatable spot. this spot seems to be planned by officials but improved by locals, which is quite awesome and how i think it kinda should be. JD will most likely not forget that spot ever and that curved rail is something i would love to have around

there is a skate park near my house so much worse than this, its got a hip in the middle left of the park, a small rail directly in the middle of the park sitting on top of some cinderblocks, and about three randomly placed drop ins. and one upward curved rail in the back corner.

I remember when i was a kid growing up in the 90's and i would have loved a skatepark in my city. Anything would have been great. Skateparks not only are fun to skate, but you get to meet other people with the same hobby as you. You get to socalize. You get to challenge and push each other in ways you wouldn't do by yourself. Maybe someone does a line you didn't think of doing yourself. Maybe get some advice on how to land a trick you're working on. There is so much more to a skatepark than just the design. There is no such thing as a bad skatepark. With that being said.....this park looks sick and so much fun! Lol i get your channel is for entertainment in certain aspects. i like watching these videos just to see what you guys can do in these spots. Seriously though, this park looks fun...if im ever passing through the area I'm definitely stopping by 😂

last month i went to check out the skatepark in my old hometown (rural upper midwest) thinking it wasn't gonna be TOO bad just because the town HAD a skatepark...showed up to find a prefab park with massive cracks in the concrete that had grass growing out of them and chunks missing out of the ramps. i took one look at it and went "no thanks. i choose life." cause i knew the hospital was clear on the other end of town and my mom's house would be a grueling walk back if i crashed and burned. not sure that's the worst skatepark known to man, but i'm scared of what's worse than it.

Bro this parks like the dc skat plaza compared to ours. Ours has literaly one knee high round rail, 4 benches, a pyramid with no run up to it and two like 13ft tall half pipes like back to back. Plus most times you have to deal with crack headache or homeless people.

This is not a bad park, it's not great and could have been better with minor adjustments. But it's still way better than the one closest to me and that's 15km away (about 10miles for non-metrics). I really wish I could skate with you guys though. You seem like such a chill and nice crew.
