Survival Against Low Stab - Scoop Inside/Outside with Lateral Footwork
If an attacker moves in to stab you in the stomach or lower, obviously at close quarters, the survival footwork required is lateral - either inside or outside of the attacker's blade depending on your positioning. This can also be supported with an open-hand scoop to knock the knife off-line.
This footwork is crucial to survive the initial attack! As demonstrated in the video, it gets you out of range immediately even if they swing the blade back directly at you.
