I was lucky enough to see CONFLICT 4 times when they played Sydney, Australia in 1997. Unlike people overseas, I've never been able to see them again. I was able to meet all members after the gig, right there in the bar they played at. I have never met such polite, kind, friendly people in my life. I love them for both their music and lyrics. They deserve respect for the work they have done for the many other bands, such as the Lost Cherrees. A Truely remarkable band, mean every word they say.

Saw them live in Brixton, London back in 1984 at the age of 14. It goes without saying it was a magnificent experience. Conflict were true punk rockers in contrast to bands like Sex Pistols, Clash and Exploited.

anyone who discusses anarchim needs to recognize the fact that anarchism has existed as a legitimate form of government before. All you have to do is look into what was going on in Barcelona/Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War (mid to late 1930's).. Their government was Anarcho-Syndacalism and the only thing that stopped them from continuing their existence was Franco's fascist army .

as you say its utopic.and because of that it may never ever happen because you know we need new humans without the sence of greed and power to do that. but anarchy is a good base of principals even thoug people thinks is complete chaos it isnt, is an orther without rules and a lider to tell us wath to do because we allready should have consiousnes of how to act and think in that way and live in freedom and peace at the same time.we better think in how to fix our real world instead.

naziscumupyerbum: I loved Conflict in the '80s but lost interest along the way so I wasn't aware of 'An Option'. I've read the lyric and you're right. What a mistake. I can see what he's trying to say but it's so poorly written it plays right into the BNP's hands. To Conflict: you don't have to be PC but you do need to accept that asylum seekers have a right to asylum on a humanitarian platform regardless of anybody who may want to blow us to pieces once they're here - which isn't often.
