I feel so privileged to have grown up in this era; I was lucky enough to have been great friends with a bass player in a punk band and went touring with them. I roadied with them and saw bands such as the Dead Kennedy's and Samhain. I hated every minute of high school back then, but the weekends going to shows watching bands like D.O.A., Naked Raygun, Black Flag, the list goes on the atmosphere was magical and never to be duplicated. It is truly sad what passes as music these days.

@@Cacoeditz LoL FFS kid... This is why people and so many skins take the piss outta some punks scenes these days. Punk was NEVER ONE SIDED POLITICS 100%... I support BLM 100% always have, does not mean I will ever sign up to the local Anti Fa group, cause I do not see eye to eye on everything they stand for 100% and and am not that militant... I think for myself number one!.Since its very beginnings punk was a mix of Uni kids, middle and working class, all with individual politics and want for freedom of speech and expression. Your version of 'punk rock' does not mean every one else should have to agree with it , or should bow down too it... cause that would be oppressive right??. You can call Anti Nowhere League, sexist or homophobes etc, if thats what you want to do. Sure they are obnoxious piss takers, - tongue in cheeek with their lyrics . @@JB-zh1bo aveces se les olvida que en esta música y esta subcultura andaba la gente mas hija de puta y puro cabron de la calle. Ultimamente veo que vuelven el punk y todo eso algo rosado y políticamente correcto

Did Brit HC ever get any better? Close, others brilliant, different ,Subhumans, Disorder, Crass, Rudimentary Peni, Conflict, Flux, Exploited but this one song, absolute peak, the drums at the start, the scream...bass intro, guitar, lyrics...all perfect.

Dirge, Napalm Death, Amebix, The Varukers, Chaos Uk omfg How beautiful it must have been to see them together in Mermaid. I would have loved to have been born in Birmingham in the 80's.

@SICK BOY You would of had to been born in mid 60’s to have been able to see these at the Mermaid in Birmingham in 1982 ………..like me 1966 in Birmingham and I saw loads of bands at various Birmingham venues ,ie -Mermaid , the crown, civic hall, golden eagle etc etc …..drongos,GBH,Dead wretched ,Blitz,Abrasive Wheels, vice squad,Adicts,Upstarts, theatre of hate, 999,uk subs,Discharge,Exploited, chron gen, test tube babies ,4-skins etc etc etc. What a great time to be into punk !………..and I still love the music . My Generation as teenagers grew up in Thatchers Britain ,people were angry, gigs were violent ……..nowadays everything is safe and people wrapped up in Cotten wool too scared to say anything in case it upsets someone . ..now I’m just old and angry 😎
