It really does, I remember roleplaying different things, my favorite was doing a 2 man team like we're cia or special forces doing antiterrorism things against the Vietcong and play as cherry and have junior with me and left ragman and hoss behind tell mission was over , I'll use the M3 grease smg and junior use the M16 rifle and shotgun, and take all the silenced pistol ammo , grenades and claymore mines and take any RPGs in the field, cherry and junior would go through the secret paths in the missions and take out everything I can enemies and tanks , even take out all cars and MG guns too to keep them from being used again lol

I... This game.. made my childhood more fun than i thought. Back then.. with my brother i was 8 and he was 12. We played this game every single day! We couldn't pass the 9 level. We did not have a save card to save our progress. So we kept the playstation open. So we could continue tomorrow.. We passed the game for the first time. And we still played the game. I remember my brother shouting at me for dying always. Man im 15.. he is 19. Now i play this game in my android. An emulator. It lags a lil. But its fine. I play the game and winning alone. Man i wsih i could play one more time with my brother. Good old times. I miss those times. Now look where we are. Ps5... Luxury graphic games. And bunch of other shit. Lil kids now playing Fifa and call of duty. They dont realise what WE played. Maybe in thr future those kids make memories of these games. But i? Heh im proud for this game shouting in my memories. Man I really love Conflict Vietnam.. Though its much harder than Conflict Desert Storm, it feels more immersive with how your ammo count and weapons carried over to the next chapter, at least until you get properly Evacuated... It have more unique ragdoll and gore animations as well..

That's why I when I knew I was going to be low on ammo on the gun I was given in the beginning of the mission I would just go ahead and burn through the ammo and grab a enemy weapon , I always stuck with smg and assault rifles cuz lmgs and sniper rifles wasted alot of ammo and inaccurate to use against Vietcong and smg and assault rifles were better , I did 2 man teams Ill use cherry and ragman follow me I'll switch my m16 for his M3 grease smg cuz more ammo etc and have junior and hoss as rearguard and gave junior ragman shotgun cuz it was better than his sniper rifle , but when we were on missions with no refill on ammo I'll grab all the mat-49 smg guns left around and easy to get dozens of magazines of it and have my whole team use smg or assault rifles and I'll use all the grenades and rocket launchers for myself lol

Ikr, the vietcong coming out of nowhere etc, I found out it was lot better and easier to do 2 man teams I would play cherry alot and have ragman follow me and left junior and hoss as a rearguard while we go do the objectives , I would switch my m16 with ragman M3 grease smg cuz it had for firepower and more ammo and would give junior the shotgun cuz sniping was pointless most of the time and I most stuck with assault rifles, smg , lots of grenades and RPGs lol

That mission was pretty fun and challenging to do but afterwards I kept redoing the mission roleplaying in different ways , that same mission was a very common strategy for the vietcong to do to US firebases in Vietnam , they have a bunch of guys with what guns on hand , find any mortor or weapon to bombard base and most importantly find a siege weapon like a tank , APC with a autocannon or a makeshift vehicle with a main gun of sorts and attack US bases and etc lol

I never got past the first mission or two,I dont remember. Mostly because I didnt find out what my objective was. But back in the day games were a lot better. Not graphically, but challenging and SMART. These days you can mark enemies,see them through frigging walls, get alerts, have minimaps and obvious level designs and kinda stupid enemies

@@Assassino275 Yeah, its funny. I am only interested in playing some games when they come out, and mostly just because Im so bored of other games. But the only games I keep going back to are the classic games. Like Halo 1+2, Splinter Cell (the earlier games up until Chaos Theory), the remake of Sid Meiers Pirates (a pure graphical decision because the original is from the 80s), old Tomb Raider games with a sassy Lara Croft (dont like the whiney kid who gets PTSD over everything she does.... That cocky attitude was what made LC so great, that and the tits.), the old CoDs and MoHs. MoH Frontline is still one of the best games ever, with such great music and a great story (without the story overflashing the simple shooter mechanics), the first AC games, back when they actually took the crossbow out of the game for historical accuracy and stuff like that. Back when it felt like a believable person back from that time. I didnt even like AC2 at first, because of the wearable pistol and shit, but Ezio convinced me its still a good game yet that hidden pistol was the beginning of the end, and so on. I dont play a lot of video games anymore. Maybe 8 hours everyday for a month or so every other year, and then zero gaming for the other 23 months of that cycle. So I get excited about all these new games right? And yet I dont end up playing them through usually. Or maybe once if its a story based game, and then thats it usually. No replays.

Have some tips for you guys: Tet offensive I put Ragman on the door of the bunker with his shotgun, Hoss on the fixed machine gun, Cherry on the left window with his M16 burst firing, Junior Lesh on the right window. When one of the NPC runs away and gets killed by enemies mortars fire I order cherry to pick his ammo till they receive the order to fall back! when on the center of the base I leave only one pathways that the vc is using to enter and attack the center of the base and I destroy the T34 tank with the bazooka. For the end I put my men killing all vcs who are coming from the pathway that I didn't destroyed, there when they are killing so much waves after waves of enemies you will listen how the four will operate together and will start talking about things that they don't usually talk when you are just playing! They will speak about all the weird stuff that you can imagine! There the game shows the meaning of : " it don't mean nothing " and a taste of how insane and cruel this war was and how they felt about killing! My brother and I used to play this game to exhaustion just for the fun of it, then I went to the navy and became a corpsman, he went to the army and died overseas. He discovered this part of the killing waves of incoming enemies and how the characters became more insane when killing and then to kill started to be fun for some of them! Plus you'll gain a lot of points to upgrade your soldiers, when I do this I get almost 2000 points and medals! Medals are important too in this game because the expertise increases so much more For the first mission rumble in the jungle and not only, Junior Lesh works without complaining and better when he is alone, just give him medals and upgrade more his M14 and the suppressed M1911 pistol on him, he'll do the job! He complains and becomes defeatist only when someone is with him. He is good to cover your teams back if you hide him well in the bushes and to be your point man if you find high ground advantage! Hoss is obviously the guy you need for suppressing fire and covering fire near or far , upgrade his machine gun, grenade and pistol because the only ammo you'll find for pistol is gonna be for an unsuppressed pistol in the Bad Moon mission! He is the team's horse, you can let him take all the ammo you find in country! Fixed machine guns? Put him there whenever you need it! Ragman Sgt Weir is one of the most complete payable characters, he has the 12 gauge shotgun that has enough fire power to kill enemies who are close enough and he can kill two enemies when they are not so far from him with four shots! He has the grease gun that has enough fire power to kill enemies from a considerable distance as the sniper rifle M14 of Junior Lesh and for close encounters is a beautiful and perfect weapon on his hands! Point man when you don't need to use suppressed weapons, upgrade his grease gun and shotgun more! Cherry Upgrade his medical skills, medical skills and pistol, if you put him covering the real, select single fire but only if the enemies can come from far, if Ragman is on point, use him as back up fire, if there is a possibility of snipers hiding ahead or you already saw one, use him as a bait, the enemies snipers use the mosin nagant rifle and it has only five shots, use him as a bait and count how many shots the enemy has fired till he has to reload and when he is reloading kill him with you own sniper Junior! The Bad moon part I put him on point to find the survivors of the first helicopter crash still alive, his reaction is really more humane than of the rest of the team, he will feel useless there! If you use him through the game as your main playable character, every mission he's gonna have a say about how it feels being there and how the recruiter lied to him about fancy stuff. He could be an officer, but instead he enlisted, and now as a soldier with a Higher medical degree he has to suffer all he has to suffer there just like a nobody back home who went to fight in Vietnam!
