They are working on regional packs, including japanese style buildings. Schools in Japan tend to be buildings, so we might get that kind of schoon in the near future.@@Reverend_Salem

At the 12:11 mark, for your cargo train routes, you would probably benefit from having separate lines for your external connections and for moving goods through the city. That can help you track how beneficial each type of trip is as well as simply the flow of trains.

I dont usually back seat, but I think its a bad idea making a cargo train terminal with a lot of industry around it & only have one road connection to the city that goes over train tracks. If it was my choice, I would just make a tunnel for cars to go under the tracks.

At some point soon I want to take a couple hours and focus on traffic, including some new roads, bypasses, and things like tunnels too. I totally agree though, the new industrial space is going to be a nightmare for traffic! I might actually add another highway connection on the eastern side of it, then maybe a district with the Gated Community Policy so no one uses it as a through-road. 🤔

As for your health/death issues, when was the last time you looked at the tech tree? The med school, has satellite clinics that raise wellness W/I 0.5 mi/km

I'm actually somewhat surprised you didn't set the rock star mansion at an angle, make it look like it was a dedicated placement for the building at the end of the island with some additional decoration or trees. Give the celebrity a chance to show off their money but also fulfil the usual demand for privacy. Not sure how that would affect the benefits it gives though.

The Old Factory Condo said it's an old factory converted to apartments, and you have a residential area that used to be industrial. Put it there! It does seem like it would fit asesthetically as well!

Hi mate! I just have a couple of suggestion for you to implement in you city: 1- maybe the new island you just created could be a traffic ban area so people will walk around and use less cars, but to do so you have to create a parking space outside for people to park, or you connect it with some public transport so people will use it more 2- referring to the new island and the part of the land nearby, why don't you make it like manhattan, that is with skyscapers and stuff like that so it create a sort of financial district or somethink like that? 3- in order to fix traffic all across the map, why don't you unlock subways? 4- this is not a suggestion for the city, but just a question: will you mess around with planes and airport in general? i think that an ariport near the sub-urban areas in the downside part of the map could look gr5eat! obviously you will need a lot of infrastructure to do so but you capable of everything and everything will work out well! this is it.. i hope i helped you in some ways. you TOTALLY should put the Old Industrial Condos building where you removed the industry from near the city center!! It would just make so much sense! And speaking of that area and a topic that you mentioned, it really bugs me that there are only two types of office buildings. You either have one story shacks with parking lots all around or you have gigantic skyscrapers. Why not a medium density option, like with housing? There are also plenty of office buildings that are massive but horizontally not vertically, maybe only like 5 stories. I wish we had something like that that could fit in with the mixed use buildings

Laurel Grove would be the perfect spot for high density offices. Not impacted by ground pollution, nice central spot. Will give off Singapore / Shanghai vibes

Love the content, might want to check on water and sewage 3rd episode now that its saying not enough coming into your city. I would suggest making a new water treatment plant area along with more intakes.

just a suggestion to make a video out of you should make a more touristy area in the city using hotels (i did a little research and it said place a landmark and zone around it with commercial and make it a district but i could be missing something so maybe do a little research yourself)

The idea of a nice river island with curvy roads framing it is great…but then you fill that curvy space with a grid 😂 The roads framing the island are also super heavy for such a small low-density community. The framing riads are also completely useless because the alleys don’t connect to them at all. They just branch out from the centre of the island, so if you delete the heavy framing roads it wouldn’t even make a difference. Just awful, honestly

colorado dmv does tech you you should do line up with the yellow line in the middle of the road and then after you made it do the line make a 90 degree to the right and then another 90 degree left to get into the lane and that was the main designing disision that made me think colordaos pop is 99% morons 47:26

Hey you can make you man made island look better. When a little river runs along side of a rushing river sediment between the two gets washed away toward the end meaning one side of your island should be more round and the other side pointed like it already is

The traffic has gotten horrible in my city as well. Cars turn 90 degrees and block the road completely sometimes. Also why are there cars, not service and not delivery, on the pedestrian streets?

About the trees, why not creating pine alleys ? And for rivers, it could be coupled with streams (very difficult to make ?) and ponds ?

I believe pedestrians will walk on any road sidewalks or not. I’ve had citizens walking on highways.
