@@trusttheson It was my family that helped me get out of the cult. They’ve always been Christians, and I actually started as one too. But at some point, I left the faith. Back then, I was new to Christ, and I didn’t really know my Bible. Because of that, I was vulnerable. These Hebrew Israelites would come to me and share their perspective of the Bible. I didn’t know how to defend my faith, so I started to believe that what they were saying might be true. They were very convincing and passionate in the way they taught, so I ended up believing them and following their teachings. I got really deep into their beliefs. I bought the garments they wore and the books they told me to read. I studied everything they taught and became pretty good at understanding their doctrine. At one point, I even tried to teach my family about it. But when I did, they didn’t accept it. It made them upset, and we ended up in a big argument. I got so angry that I started yelling at the women in my house and said some really hurtful things, thinking I was just telling them the truth. I believed I couldn’t stay in a house full of Christians anymore. I thought I needed to live with other Hebrew Israelites. I actually called someone from the group to pick me up, and I was ready to leave my family and move in with him. But before I left, my sister came to talk to me. She wanted to see where my head was at and tried to reason with me. I was so frustrated, I couldn’t even stand her being near me. Every time she came close, I felt this overwhelming anger and discomfort, like I wanted to cry or throw up. I didn’t feel like myself truthfully and I was scared inside. Then I heard the front door open, and I just knew it was my dad. My dad is a strong man of God, and when he walked in, I started shaking. My family had already told him what was happening, and he immediately began praying over me. He started calling out the spirit of confusion and rebuking it in Jesus’ name. As he prayed, something strange started happening to me. I couldn’t control myself. I was shaking and moving in weird ways, and I felt this deep frustration inside. It was like something was being forced out of me. My dad kept praying, and the rest of my family joined him. They all started laying hands on me and praying together. At some point, I felt something leave me. I collapsed to the floor, feeling completely drained. When I got up I didn’t remember much, but I felt so much love around me. My family was there, holding me, praying for me, and comforting me. I broke down crying, apologizing to them for everything I said and did. I hugged them all and felt this overwhelming peace and freedom. In that moment, I realized the truth wasn’t in the cult I had been following. The truth was in Jesus Christ, the same truth my family had been standing on all along. I felt God’s love so strongly that day, and it changed me. I felt free, forgiven, and at peace. After my deliverance, I felt a deep conviction in my spirit that the Hebrew Israelite doctrine was not of God but a deception fueled by men consumed with anger and confusion. This doctrine is not of the truth it is rooted in deception and darkness. Those involved often wrestle with a spirit of anger or confusion, which can be linked to the spirit of Leviathan.

The way they speak and read the word is very triggering for me because this cult stole my husband from me. I remember him putting together our childs crib while i was pregnant, and it was this cult they he had on you tube... Calling women whores, mocking women getting abused... Etc. i never would have imagined how quickly i would watch my husband change into someone i did not know. That was 10 years ago. My heart still bleeds for all I've lost and been thru. I have a similar story. I noticed the Cult does not favor marriage and detests women. My ex would manifest anger rage and then speak word curses over me. 2 of my high school football teammates who were very close friends of mine got wrapped up in this after we graduated. You’re taking verses out of context to say that only your people can be saved when the gospel and JESUS says different. It’s selfish and not okay.
