Confusing octaves: C3, C4, C5, C6, C7, F7

The notes I talk about singing in this video are an octave lower than what I say. The actual notes are those written in the title. This video was retitled after it was initially recorded because I got my octaves confused. The story behind how it happened is in my video called Once More With Feeling in the Wrong Octave.

I'm decades behind the development of my voice in terms of documenting how and what I can sing. At this point, I'm recording the basic sounds. I once thought I had a relatively high voice with perhaps a two octave difference between the highest and lowest notes I could sing. I didn't always consider it possible to increase my range and saw no reason to document the sound of my voice. Now i wish I had recorded the worst of my singing so that I could show the improvement.

thats the exact point of this video. I feel hom so much, my top and bottom feel so different, and my bottomdoesnt feel that low, but then i put it on a staff and it doesnt at all seem proportional

you can define middle C as being C2 or C3, its not a universal definition. he just considered middle C as being C2
