@justsomejerseydevilwithint46062 ай бұрын
@@Guy.mp4. Coronal Mass Ejection. It's something the sun does seemingly randomly in random directions ever few decades or so, mostly around big Sunspots. The last time a big one hit earth was in the days of telegram messaging and early electronics, during what is known as The Carrington Event, which peaked on the first and second day of september, 1859. Not only did basically every piece of copper on the planet start melting and making electrical fires because of the EMP waves washing over everything, these waves were so strong that some telelgram operators could work their devices WITHOUT THEM BEING PLUGGED IN. There was enough ambient energy to send a telegram signal just washing over everything and making electricity in anything conductive. While this wasn't much of an issue back in 1859, maybe a few messages were lost and a few fires needed to be put out, nowadays a CME the size of the Carrington Event would be DEVASTATING to the world's economy and industry, because so much of our society relies entirely on electronics, electronics that are NOT shielded sufficiently enough to survive such a powerful CME. Basically every device we have, from GPS in cars to controls of airplanes to phones to THE ENTIRETY OF THE INTERNET down to the thermostat on your wall and the fan you use in the summer would have every single electric component melted into useless slurry, starting electrical fires and bursting phone batteries. Every piece of electronic tech we rely on to get food to people and keep food cold and make clean water and transport coal to power plants and light up dark places, would be instantly unusable and possibly hazardous to be around. This includes the internet servers google has, that stores these wonderful pieces of our culture like the A-train Sax Battle. Everything on the internet would be instantly and irrevocably lost, and the world would be plunged into a dark age, and this could happen any year now, without much warning if any. It could take humanity a century to recover, but every internet meme that wasn't written down or protected from an EMP somewhere would be lost forever, so I suggest we make an archive of these awesome moments that exist only on the internet, and put them in a place shielded from EMP.

There is something incredibly powerful about this video. Not in like a memey, this video has a crazy aura type powerful, but like a transcendent, uplifting positive energy that shows a concentrated example of us, humanity, enjoying ourselves unimpeded for six minutes of insanley coincidental, outrageous bliss. To get to brass tacks, basically: this video is a beautiful display of what we're capable of. We can learn a thing or two from them. Like how these two players keep on playing even when they get out of sync in places, we have to keep going no matter how hard it gets. Even when it seems like thing are breaking down, we can always pull it back.
