Congaree National Park 5.10.24

Cedar Creek is on the rise and was at 6' when we started today and 6.5' when we finished. Will probably be over 8ft tomorrow. We had 2 Barred Owls 🦉 sitting above the creek and heard several more thru out the trip. Only had a few Water Snakes 🐍 out which was expected with higher water. We paddled into Tupelo Basin and Big Snake Slough for the 1st time in about 6 weeks. We also spotted a Great Blue Heron and Egret! Thanks for coming out today and choosing Carolina Outdoor Adventures!
