I can confirm you can climb out even though it looks impossible. I got pulled in by a 30lb eel one October. Lost the gaff and torch but still climbed out and landed the fish by hand (Its amazing what adrenaline can do). But I would not recommend it Lol

Maaan i wish we had those where i live. Look like loads of fun. Er only have regular eel. So most fun i get is Pollock and cod. But cod are fun to. Especially if they get above 5 kilos.

Congratulations on the ray dude! Im totally hooked on conger fishing now. They fight so hard. Are pollock any good as deadbaits? Or how about 3-4 shore crabs on the hook? Would appreciate your thoughts Tight lines smash!

Karl Stokes year a small pollack head or fillet would catch a conger for sure 👌 but for best results cuttlefish , mackerel and squid is the go to but they will take a lot of baits , thanks for watching
