The funniest thing is that if you look up this guy (Andrew Heiberger), he's a multimillionaire real estate mogul. He can afford the $9. (Or take the train, the bus, or walk, it's a 10 minute drive vs a 20 minute walk from 61st to 79th). The border of the congestion pricing zone is billionaire row, the only people who live there and are able to park their car are living in luxury building swith garages that cost $1000/month. Andrew is probably the most broke local resident with a car that they've managed to find to interview.

There is group or rich drivers that always drive in the bus lane and just pay the fines. In fact there is an BMW M5 parked in front of my office building all the time and always has tickets for parking in commercial parking lane, I finally asked the owner why he does not use the garage across the street and he said the money is noting compaired to the perfect parking spot in front of the building and never needs to go to the garage.

From Wikipedia: Andrew Scott Heiberger (born January 18, 1968) is an American real estate agent and developer. He is the founder, owner and CEO of Buttonwood Development, a Manhattan-based real estate development firm. He is also the founder and owner of Town Residential, a residential real estate brokerage in Manhattan. Seems like the cities richest are angry about this.
