Y'all - this is such a fantastic overview of what's happening in Congo. I've kept up with a lot, but Congo has somehow seemed too "big" for me to really takle as a research topic. This was such an accessible, clear, and practical discussion about what's happening. In particular, I absolutely love the insights you provided about boycotting, comparisons, etc. Refurbishing, buying used...can't believe I really didn't think about this. Kudos. Thank you so much and praying for your family and for you Simone. I will certainly be sharing this, writing on it, and one of my goals has been to stop buying new and over-consuming anyway. This seals the deal! Thank you again for taking the time to educate us.

I'm catching up. By chance, I saw your first video. Thank you for taking on this journey of understanding, I really want to know the information that you're learning from the steps into another's homeland. Your video made me cry, but I was joyful that someone had the absolute goal to reach out to the people who are rarely represented in having say in how things work in our world. I'll be watching!!

Hi I hope you read this I saw on TikTok you said Muslims Christian’s and Jews lived in harmony in the Middle East in the past That’s not true Those lands was originally Christian or Zoroastrianism or other pagan ones Christianity was first spread to Armenia Ethiopia and Georgia via the gospel before it reached Europe Islam was spread via the sword throughout the Middle East around 500-600 years later The Christian’s and other religions in those lands were either killed or forced to covert to Islam Those who did neither had to pay the jizya Which is a tax meaning Islam has conquered you Checkout what’s happening in Nigeria to the Christian’s there Or in Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan When Islam is the majority they kill non believers Please atleast show you’ve read this Because I know people whose Christian families have been killed from those Middle Eastern nations and didn’t take your words kindly at all saying they “lived in harmony” because that’s clearly untrue Ofc there’s some places where that’s not the case but that’s a clear minority compared to the rest
