Good day Dear, I'm Jeannot Lombombe from DRC congo, very happy to see this video recorded at Lokoro river, I remember my journey at 2001 from kisangani, Mbandaka, I ngende, Waka, Monkoto where my brother worked as Docter Veterinarian at Luembe and I worked to Wafanya Catholic Mission passed until one village before Engondo my motherland then I entering a forest to other site of Bokandjo village just remember that good time, righr now I'm in South Afraca

Only 132 views? I don't think people understand how crazy of a journey this is. I have traveled the world (95 countries) and I have never seen anything like this.

@@ErnestTufft I see value in this trip of yours because no "tourist" has probably ever done this. Anywhere in DRC outside of Virunga and Kinshasa is probably as far off the tourist track as one can get.

Nice and good place I know the river I was there at 2001 and explored Salonga park from Mbandaka to Monkoto Town and small villages is my motherland I miss my home, I love you guys let Jehovah protect my followers brothers and friends sisters

If you look at a satellite photo of this area, this land has been isolated for thousands of years since the ice age. Incredible and very cool stuff here.

Thank you. Yes, the geology is obviously very old volcanic soils, with a lot of sand and silt, of course.
