The basis on which these unifications were brought about was over the experiences they have seen that these conflicts/ wars (sometimes necessary but most times just petty) have caused - nothing but unnecessary chaos and loss. Loss in every aspect of it, on all sides and for all parties directly involved or indirectly involved (especially those with whom you share borders). So to cut it short, if most Africans really thought that fighting each other wasn’t inevitable, they wouldn’t be doing it in the first place. However, those who do so, have only come to an obvious realization that it’s only by working together as a continent that we’ll make the progress that we wanna achieve for ourselves.

When Mobutu was in power, there were not tutshi problems. US and UK created it after he left power. Mobutu usually sent his army in Rwanda. Kagame could not joke as he does now with his puppets ( Kabila and Tshisekedi).

Hmmm, as an half somali half Borana Kenyan, I do share alot of genetic admixture with the Tutsi, Hima and Banyamulenge, Ive spent alot of time in Kigali, and the Bantu congolese often seem quite hateful against tall nomadic people in general. However, I don't get why the Tutsi people want to live in Eastern DRC when they easily could assimilate into Rwanda. The Cushitic Nilotics and Bantu of East Africa have never gotten along.
