Thank you so much Sis. All your points are valid. I just want to add a point especially for those that plan to change their money (# to $ ) at the airport in Nigeria just before traveling. The airport shenanigans, especially Lagos airport may make you forget to do so and that is going to really affect you most especially if you have children or long layovers. Also because Master cards / dollar cards don’t work internationally again. I’ll advise you get your dollars ready before even going to the airport and if you can’t, probably set a reminder.

This thing happens to us, my son was at the permit section trying to get his SP, our connecting flight was at 5:30, Air Canada delayed the flight because there were a lot of students that week. We missed the flight and the next available flight to Moncton was 2pm the next day. We had to sleep at the airport. Left to me i would have checked into a hotel but my akpuruka children (3 children), even my 10year old refused. It was rough mbok! Canada journey no be here ooooo

During the time we were coming it was so hectic, landing in Montreal and spent almost 6 hours at the port of entry, after immigration we missed our flight. That's how we slept in the airport with children on top cold😢 Tho, Air Canada managed to get a connecting flight to St John's NL, but that's after 15hours. It wasn't easy all. All you said here is a very good tip especially for new immigrants. I enjoyed watching mummy seky
