Howdy guys, my name is Attorney Walter Rudolph Hnot, III. New Jersey born, MBA, JD, Master Mason and a tireless advocate for the homeless and low income who are seeking disability benefits. It's simple, if you are within the law's requirements for disability benefits, you get a check every month, and health insurance. No, it doesn't include a new iPhone, house or cool car, but, with your SSI/SSDI disability backpay, you can potentially get those things...with your own disability money :-). I created this channel because of how many crazy things I was hearing out in the general public on how this system works. I did library seminars, academia seminars, food truck seminars (which I prefer), etc...The online video platform is the best way to reach the majority of you guys.

They make it way too hard to report! I'm on SSI and have been since 1998, I have to report my husband's earnings every month. Back in the day it was faxing or mailing check stubs, now jobs and pay is direct deposit and no more faxing, they won't accept email, and a good potion of the time the mail gets "lost". I've long since wondered why it's not automated. I got reviewed a couple years ago and there was a big overpayment, they withhold a portion of my check each month. It wouldn't be happening so often if it was automated and adjusted in real time without relying on humans who are overworked to process everything in. I get new people to report to multiple times a year, they can't keep staff and the days of going in person are over, it's all requiring an appointment and they do not allow walk ins. I just wish they would stop coming after the low earners trying to make ends meet and cut bigger government spending waste that wouldn't send more of us deeper into poverty.

First off , I never figured out why ,when drawing Socail Security , there ever was a penalty for being retired and going bock to work! Millions of people retire at 62, then have to wait for a certain age to keep from making too much money. Just ridiculous! Billions in revenue just thrown away that could be added back into the system , This is the cap on earnings, which basically says we will rob you if you make too much before a certain age! I don't believe in raising the retirement age ,just don't penalize people for going back to work . And taxing money that you already paid taxes on should be illegal, and the law should state that social security funds could not be used by any government body organization other than its main intent! It can not be used to fund anyone who is not a U.S. Citizen In other words, non Citizen or illegal immigrants would not be entitled to any funding from our money ,put away for our retirement! Next, Medicare and Medicaid have their purpose to. These services should be provided to only the U.S . Citizens and not for any government branch or agency to alter or devert any funding or detract from its original purpose!

@@DukePitts-q4g I no some people that just recently found out that if you're on disability you can get medicare after the 2 year mark regardless of the age and this absolutely upsetted them. They don't think it's right and believe there should be a medicare for the older and younger generation or some other medical system. When they found out they just got a letter telling them there might not be funds for them when they retire.

I was born with spina bifida, with partial paralysis of my legs. I can walk with crutches and wear braces. I've always worked. When I was younger and more mobile I did normal teenager type jobs. Because of my disability, I picked work that was computer related, because I knew I could do it in a wheelchair and support myself. I now make a very good living. I live in my own home, and I hire people to do things around the house that I can't do. I find it beyond puzzling all the people parking in handicapped spots in their big trucks, leaping out, walking normally .. yet they are "disabled" and are getting some kind of "disability" assistance because they can't work. Never ONCE in my life have I requested or needed assistance.

It’s a blessing that your disability doesn’t hold you back and I commend your work ethic. Some disabilities cannot be seen. I have been on SSD since I was in my 20’s, I will be 60 soon. I look much younger than I am, I weigh the same as I did in high school I was a dancer and a gymnast so I move very gracefully. But my immune system is shot. My energy is low and I live in Chronic Pain! People can’t see this and I get judged and called lazy. However I only use disability parking if I am in a health crisis, and would struggle getting in and out of a monster truck 😉 Have a good day!

I personally believe EVERYONE on SSI should get reevaluated every 5 years. Too many parents claiming their young children are disabled and it’s hindering them from ever wanting to work. Because why if they can sit at home and get paid for it? Many Americans have found the gateway to getting free money and it’s called mental health. No one unless they’re non verbal or unable to use their hands and feet should be getting disability at a young age! They never paid anything in or even tried.

I would stop at a 7-11 to get a hot dog for lunch..all I could afford..some lady roll up in a Jaguar with easily $15K in gold bangles up to her elbow..buys 12 boxes Managua at $17 each with an EBT food stamp card! I see women throwing $30 cocktail shrimp trays in their carts with 4 kids in tow wearing rags! WELFARE CAN BE BETTER REGULATED BY CONTROLLING ALLOWABLE ITEMS OF PURCHASE! OUR POPULATION WOULD BE TREMENDOUSLY MORE HEALTHY SAVING HUGE COSTS MEDICALLY IN SHORT AND LONG RUN.

No. We are not in a defaulted country and we are not bankrupt, except morally. The money is misspent not overspent necessarily. Tax ALL INCONE and profits for fica, no limits, exceptions or exemptions. Then means test. That will solve ALL funding problems. We do it backwards. The largest monthly payment go to the bottom and then is gradually phased out at the top. Tackle the national wealth disparity and poverty of the elderly in one go. Then increase min wage and low incomes to what they should’ve have been and restrict upper incomes and corporate profits at the top. That’s where taxes come in. Also, restrict corporations and the wealthy from removing any assets to shirk their corporate and personal duties as citizens.

I also have 3 bulging discs in my lower back, I have adhesions on my right side of my abdomen from hernia repair surgery, amongst some other fun problems with my health. Because Medicaid pays maybe 1/4, if that, of the bill, Doctors, rightfully so, don't want patients from Medicaid. But... How the hell do we get our medical situation fixed so we can go back to work? I wrote to a few Politicians explaining this. No response. I'm not going to allow just anyone to do surgery on me just because They accept Medicaid. I would like to hear your response in how Republicans will help the "lazy" people like me on SSI, will have a chance to get fixed up properly, so I CAN GO BACK TO WORK. Not everyone on SSI just loves collecting a lousy $644. If I could find decent Doctors, I could be making a few grand.

Sugar and flour to make your own anything shot way up, and beef looks like a 3 times a year special treat. Chicken uncooked is more than cooked and frozen. Unless you are a physician and know that person intimately, you have no right to assume or judge. People have good days and often force themselves to do things they SHOULDN'T be doing. Perhaps because they can't afford a handyman or a gardener - forced to do it themselves. You have no idea how much pain they might be in AFTER spending a day in the yard, trying to upkeep it so the neighbors don't get mad. It is much more of a complex issue than you presume.

Think about all of the undocumented immigrants who pay into Social Security and Medicare along with state and federal income taxes. They never get any of it back. Think of how much Social Security and Medicare along with IRS will lose as a result of the mass deportations. Also think of how much more $$ would be brought in by allowing more legal immigrants into our country by simplifying the process and raising the quota. It would also cut down on illegal immigration if it was easier to get in. We need more young working families in order to pay for all the old retirees. Just sayin’.

The reality as my lawyer told me is once you start they will use that to kick you off. The other thing that sucks if you build up any saving via eating cheese sandwiches instead of steaks and are frugal so you have some savings ss wants to lower your benefits to account for that but someone else who is in the same situation but blows all their money gets to keep gettting everything. No incentive to work.

I haven't tried for a few years now and I quit doing all the IV and other drugs and even quit smoking cigs which was probably the hardest... anyways I just wanted to say I think the statistics are probably way higher because I doubt they were even counting all those times I tried to end myself (and I'm sure many others like me) before I finallly got my crap in order well enough (in early 2022) to file this case that finally stuck and I was able to "win" my claim.
