Well shit, this puts a monkey wrench in things. I can convince my family and friends to stay calm and stand side by side with Democrats/Republicans to protect them from harm. However if they make this law, it will have the opposite effect they intend. First, everyone will go back to church simply to seek common cause, forgiving the church for the pedo scandal. Second, it gives people the idea that they can organize militias through the church. Third, such a blatantly unconstitutional law will attract people looking to defy it on purpose. I don’t know if SHTF will happen but try and remember that the only winner of a Civil War is the hungry demons who seek to devour our entrails as we slowly bleed out on the battlefield, the altar of war. I think its more of an affiliation status, rather than a lone licensed CCW holder sitting in church. I ran with a tight nit security team at my previous church that did training 2-3 times per year. A security team is absolutely needed for any sized church and so is proper training. From creepers that stalk worship staff (women), randoms hoping up on stage, to people simply being in places they shouldnt be during service like roaming the halls where the children are, and many other situations. A Coordinated security team is absolutely needed. Screw what these politicians have to say about this. God - Family - Country.....in that order only.

If you are silenced, then your RIGHT to free speech was violated unlawfully, but the right is still there. The reason they used the word "creator" was to imply that your rights come from outside the government. They didn't all care if you believed in a god, or two gods, or no gods. Genita, the battle of Athens Tenn. Aug. 1&2 1946. How a stolen local election caused a 6-hour gun battle & then a use of dynamite at a police station, to retrieve stolen ballot boxes! Involved 2-300 local residents & many were veterans of WW 2, against 2-3 dozen cops, the mayor & police chief with the ballot boxes in the police station!! The mayor stole the 1940, 42 & 44 elections!! Remember in 1774, 250 years ago England banned guns/gunpowder in colonial America!! Attempted gun confiscation by the English army in April 1775 started that 8-year war for American independence & England almost won that war!! England came back for the War of 1812-1815 & burned down Washington D.C.!!

I am licensed as a Commissioned Security Officer and as a Personal Protection Officer by the Department of Public Safety of the state of Texas. And I lead the security team at my church. All of our team members whether volunteer or paid officers are licensed. Sounds like we are covered because of state licensing. I highly encourage all of you that provide security for your church obtain proper state licenses for your own protection and that of your church. I tend to agree that non-licensed individuals (even those that only have an LTC) should not be practicing “security” without a proper license and insurance bond given the litigious nature of our country. “Purpose of functioning in public” is part of its definition of militia. Church security usually function on the private property of the church, so that would sound like an exemption. More grey area would be private security for CEO and NGO’s if they follow their clients off private property. Also a grey area would be outfits like private security organizations that sometimes contract with the government but sometimes not.

I go to a church that since the COVID-19 plandemic, members of our church leadership have received over 300 death threats. I personally carry everywhere I go, even church. While I am formally trained, I am not a part of our security team. I am on a first name basis with all on the security team and they all are aware of my readiness. I train 3 times more than any of those on the team. They know where I sit in church and know that I am diligently aware of those in my immediate vicinity. We stay in constant communication prior to the services starting and through out. I guess it is best to keep the security team members as covert as possible with the fact that we have noticed an increase in people coming in to the church looking to see how far they can push their liberal agenda. We recently had an issue with a male posing as a female trying to use the women's restrooms. Considering the times we are in this is only going become more of an issue.

@@joshuahowe9417 It's not something I would consider unless they showed an interest. At our church that is an all day thing every service. Presently we have 5 services on Sunday and one on Mondays. Most of the security team are either former retired LE, FBI, Or special ops guys. But I wanted to make them aware of my EDC stance just in case something happened and I needed to draw my weapon. I would not be targeted. I have always been of the opinion that the last person I would want on the security team is someone so eager as to be seeking that position.

I am my own church security. I am not organized. I neither lead nor follow. I act independently. I carry everywhere I go. I carry in church. I don't ask permission from the church. Nor do I care if anyone approves . I answer only to God for my actions. Those around me would likely be afraid if they knew I was armed yet when things go bad they would be hoping I was there. If they ever say no guns in church I will still carry or I won't go . It will be the law abiding who are unarmed.
