I think Welfare and Food Stamps need to be associated with an incentive to improve or work hard. And more than 45% of the citizens are asking for more (MORE WELFARE and benefits). You have to choose between ECONOMY or WELFARE. The commonwealth country economy growth (Australia, etc) is only more or less 2%. (meaning no one can be truly rich since the businesses are not really growing). Also, note there is inflation to consider - daily use product becoming more expensive. If you want to know, we foreigners see America as a debt country, owing basically everyone. The only things which are keeping your economy alive are some big corporations (which has a lot of worth to foreigners and investors), and your American Dollar system. People are trying to move away from your dollars. Remember, your economy magic will not last.
