Yeah and I think another reason why people ask questions like this is bc first, conjoined twins are pretty rare so people probably don't know much about them and are curious and second, conjoined twins are pretty unique compared to other conjoined twins too bc there are so many different degrees of being conjoined. Some are just attached at the hips and could be separated, others share organs that would make it impossible to separate them. So I think it's understandable to ask how much they're influenced by what the other feels

I feel like on that case you hope the sister that does doesn't take any shared organs with her and surgery begins to remove dead tissue that was once your sister (because once she's dead, she's gone and it's just her body left). It's the same as if another body part died. It needs to be removed so necrosis doesn't spread. That means if they have a spine that is connected at the lower half, they would both feel sensation there. For example, they will both feel the same sexual sensations, if someone bumps into their hip, etc. it doesn’t matter that they have different brains, your spine is still part of your CNS and delivers messages to the brain, depending on the sensation.
