Left of section downward force is positive as per previous video,but here it is negative .How is it.please comment.

Hello Santosh. There are two things that you need to remember here. 1. When you are applying the equilibrium equation: summation of forces in the upward direction = 0, then upward forces have been taken as positive and downward forces have been taken as negative. 2. When you're calculating shear force at any point, then (a) left of section: upward forces are taken as positive and downward forces are taken as negative and (b) right of section: downward forces are taken as positive and upward forces are taken as negative. Sir why you have used superposition, can't we solve problem using two loads at a time to find momentum

I have used principle to superposition just for ease of understanding the positive and negative bending moment separately, however if you are comfortable considering both the loads together, you can do that as well - it will give the same answer.
