I hear that some guys are wondering how to modify the Solo garden sprayer into a Kwik Kaulk applicator. First go but a new Solo sprayer. Then remover the pump section, I use a block of wood and a hammer to help get it out. Once you've done that , you'll see a screen inside, remove that! I just cut it out. If you don't do this Kwik Kaulk will not flow through the screen! Reassemble the sprayer, that parts done. Now go the hardware store, buy a garden spray wand, you know the kind with the sprinkler head on it so you can reach up and water your plants. remove the sprinkler head and screw the wand onto the hose of the Solo sprayer and there you have it! Makes the job SOOOO much easier!!! One word of caution, once you have finished doing the fasteners clean your backpack right away or at least fill it with water and clean it when you get home!!! If you do not do this, you will be buying another sprayer and starting all over again. The Kwik Kaulk will set up in your hose and then you are HOSED!!! Believe me I've been there! It only that's a few minutes to make sure your sprayer will be ready for your next job. Good Luck.

Oh, One more thing. Unless you are a real HE-MAN do not fill the sprayer all the way full! It's not so much the weight, although it is heavy, it's the straps cut into your shoulders. I usually only fill mine half way. That goes a long ways!

He used Conklin roofing products. Metal Ready then Benchmark top coat.

When they patch fastener, they used solo backpack sprayer. At that time which wand they are using? It seems they don't use tip on the wand.

danbeau you're so right I got caught up with the Amish I hold them to work to downtown Erie PA across from a big church was a two-story Motel not only did we get detained which OSHA violations and over $16,000 with a fines we also and overspray on vehicles within that block so you have to buy car covers to cover each car it's it's crazy.. And not to mention the leaks we had to return at least five times the first month as far as I know the guy still has problems with that roof not saying it's the product just maybe the workers they had big trailers with pumps and barrels these guys are definitely commercially outfitted but I don't recommend anybody using them for that product unless they research it more and make sure they have insurance because this guy wasn't covered
