Thank you, Kim & Penn. To have practical advice & examples from parents who actually deal with these issues. Is a lot more trusting & comforting. There are too many people out there giving advice, when they haven't walked the walk😉More of these would be greatly appreciated🙏.

I was constantly told I had a memory like a sieve as a child. No idea I had adhd. I was determined not to get upset with my own children when losing or forgetting stuff. I wish KZbin had been around back then ,this is lovely and practical. Connect not correct. Brilliant. Kids and Mum now diagnosed .. can’t rewind the clock…

Thank you Kim and Penn for sharing your story! I’ve been a loyal fan since y’all performed Christmas Jammies and being ADD myself, thanks for allowing us to be a part of your family 🩷

Connect, don't correct - is so helpful for both children and adults! Waiting until you or your ADHDer is calibrated and regulated emotionally to problem solve on struggles is key!

Mathematics and ADHD are mortal enemies in my opinion. Remembering strict formulas, rules and functions… there’s literally nothing worse for the ADHD brain. ASD on the other hand can really thrive with that.

From everything I’ve learned about adhd it seems like girls mask better than boys. You’re probably already doing it but please keep in mind the possibility of your daughter also getting the genetics.
