Connecticut American Legion State Police Youth Week 2019

The Connecticut American Legion State Police Youth Week is a one week program for rising high school seniors to experience life as a Connecticut State Police Recruit and gain insight into a career as a Connecticut State Trooper. 19 Youth Cadets from across Connecticut stayed at the Connecticut Police Academy and tested their mental and physical strength over 7 days. Cadets received training in Criminal Investigation, Water Safety, Intro to Boating, Physical Fitness Training, Accident Investigation, EVOC, First Aid/CPR/Stop the Bleed, Firearms Familiarization, Building Searches, and Leadership Development.
