On 03/15/24, I ate at an Applebee's & had a large salad & a dinner of grilled chicken, mashed potatoes & a vegetable for $12.50! When you can eat at a "sit-down" restaurant for less than a "fast-food" one, something is "out-of-whack"!

A McDonald's, franchise or corporate store, is not charity. No one is contractually obligated to buy. If the prices are too high, go somewhere that has a better priced menu. No one is going to starve if they don't eat there, there's other food, other restaurants within an hour's drive. No one is being forced to eat there.

It's only one McD franchise store, not all nationwide stores. It's the most expensive McD store, in a wealthy neighborhood. Menu prices are about $5+ more than any other place. Connecticut minimum wage increased 69 cents in 2024.

It's a good thing. People can learn to be smart with their Money. Mom used to buy a pack of burgers, bread, and cheese for less than $20 and we all eat good. Home burgers always taste better. This McDonald's is in the news, but a comb on the Las Vegas strip is over $20 average, Pizza $59 and this is not new.
