Connecticut and New Jersey played an Elimination Game in the 2021 Little League World Series.

Working… you mean volunteering. They don’t get paid to do this. I believe they also pay their own way. They don’t eve get money for room and board.

Those umps probably were hand picked by those that also have ulterior motives.The LL organization made covid protocol rules then change them during the tournament. Team Hawaii has players tested positive for covid and were allowed to continue. Several other teams were tested by non medical personnel and tested positive.The next day,a medical doctor retested them and were negative but were not allowed to continue. Things that make you🤔🤔🤔

Umped little league for a couple of years. Enjoyed it most of the time but a few games were miserable. People expect the highest level and parents are way too invested in their child’s performance. Once threatened to leave a game if a particular parent was not removed. Threw out a couple of kids for verbal abuse and foul language. Needless to say left right after the games.

@@vermontkm1490 this fall we will have Fall Ball but without umps,no official score keeping and team standings,and coaches must teach basic skills/fundamentals. It’s getting to the point where parents are absolutely out of control...in tball games!!

Not true. Curveballs have been found to not put more stress on the arm according to various studies.
