Can you do a video on how to do this but to access power from the trucks trailer outlet to power the compressor?

I’m going to do this but will use SJ cord

I have a Class A so my connectors are just the opposite so do I just reverse the type of connector to plug into the Class A connector?

If it is a 7 pin connector, you would still use the AX and GD circuit, which should be stamped on the connector.

Very cool idea I do have a small air compressor in my travel trailer with a cigarette lighter end but I could change to alligator clips and then I would not have to use my truck especially if I were on the side of a highway and the cord would not reach or something thanks 😊

You could also adapt the 7 pin connector to a cigarette lighter jack.

Would it be possible to plug into the tow vehicle and use the tow vehicle battery instead of the camper battery? In case the camper battery was dead.

Yes, and that's my plan. That way it should reach my boat trailer wheels. You will want to ensure your truck's 12v + circuit for the 7-pin connector has a fuse that is high enough for the compressor. It should list it in the owner's manual. I believe my RAM has a 40 amp fuse and my compressor a 20 amp fuse so it should work fine.

As long as the vehicle connects 12V to the 7 pin connector it should be OK. I have been hearing from some vehicle owners that some vehicles may not supply 12V unless the parking brake is on. I have not independently verified that, but it is something to consider if it does not work.

just curious, how many times have you actually needed that compressor? I'm going on 4 seasons and I've never used mine

They are like jumper cables. Have them ready and hope you never need them😁

I usually top off the pressure on the tires 2-3 times per season. But we normally camp 70+ nights per summer, so we put a lot of miles on the tires.
