Great video. Eventually got it going. I'd like to mention that in some markets it seems Samsung only supplies a 'Smart Remote' that doesn't have the complete set of keys and buttons. I was unable to enter Service Mode with that style of remote. I borrowed a Traditional remote from an older Samsung Smart TV and this worked perfectly. I entered service mode first attempt and enabled BT audio from Engineering section. This remote situation drove me crazy so hopefully this helps others.

This is brilliant, but it fails to tell you where you may experience difficulties. But the message here is ‘persevere’, as what is presented here works. The first problem I experienced was regarding the Samsung remote. It was not the same as the one shown in the Video, but once I figured out the appropriate buttons the service menu appeared. Secondly, pairing the headphones proved difficult to the point where I felt that my headphones being budget ones were not going to be picked up. I nearly gave up thinking I would have to buy better headphones. But once again being persistent proved successful. I kept clicking the refresh button and eventually my Q7 Bluetooth headphones appeared. I have had my TV for over 3 years and I was getting fed-up with not being able to use any headphones with it. I was just about to go down the spending route when I found this video. Yes it works, but I can also understand why Samsung has not enabled the bluetooth headphone feature on my 7 series TV - since I have enabled my bluetooth headset I have a new problem. If I go from watching a youTube video through the headphones to the TV, I lose the sound in the headphone, and cannot get the normal TV speakers working. I was forced to turn the power off by the plug (got a little worried at this point) to restore the sound. Also if you enable the bluetooth headphones whilst watching the TV when you swith to either Internet or USB input you lose all the sound. So not perfect and may still have to consider buying a Bluetooth adapter.

Thanks for a very useful video. My Samsung UE40D8000 smart TV (bought in 2011 or 2012) supports 3D, and it communicates with Samsung's 3D shutter glasses using Bluetooth. I'm hoping this means that I should be able to enable pairing with Bluetooth headphones.... However, although I can access the manufacturer's "secret" menu OK, there's no "Engineer options" selection within the options menu. I had a look at the update video but it doesn't help with this particular problem. Any suggestions as to why I have no Engineer options? Is it a feature of the D8000 series of TVs? On a slightly different topic, as someone else has commented, I found that just going into the secret menu (without changing anything) changes the colour settings on the TV. It's easy enough to set them back as they were, but it's worth mentioning that this happens - at least it does on my particular model of TV.

When I connect my Sennheiser 4.5SE it automatically switches "Tv Sound Output" (first option in menu) to Bluetooth Headphones and I get sound both on TV and headphones; I try switching the "Tv sound Output" back to TV Speaker but still both TV and headphones are on. Worked on my UE48H6700! At one point however I did go into the wrong section in the service menu. It was a category that said Delete S/N and the number zero. As i was navigating around the zero is now 1. I'm worried I wiped out my serial or something. Anyway I powered off and back again and I have the Bluetooth Headset option and everything else seems ok. However a warning, all my Picture Settings were reset (contrast, brightness, sharpness etc) but I had a record of these. So kudos to you

Thank you so much for your great video on how to find the secret menu on Samsung TV to pair BT headphones. I was able to get to the secret menu with the Mute-182-power on sequence. I changed the BT audio from off to on. And then I went into the Speaker Settings (under Sound), but there were no headphones listed (even though my headphones were on and in pairing mode). I also tried it with a BT speaker, and that didn't show up either. Here is what shows up when I select the Speaker Settings menu: Speaker Settings and under that it says TV Sound Output with TV Speaker beside that. Then the next line down says TV Speaker and under that it says TV Installation Type with Stand beside that. That's all that shows up on that screen. I went back into the secret menu to verify that BT Audio was still on. I tried several times with the headphones and the BT speaker, but they don't show up. Any advice?? I was so excited to find your video and so excited to get into the secret menu. I feel like I'm getting close. I hope you can help me get the rest of the way.......

I have a series 6 Samsung UHDTV. Following your instructions I do not get the 'hidden' menu when I press the power button - even when I press Info+Menu+Mute rapidly. Does this not work on this TV?

actually, when I go into the SOUND menu, it just says TV sound output, and TV installation type. I don't see SoundShare. does that mean my TV doesn't have it?

Hi, i got this tv UE46F6400AK and headphones ACME BH60 Foldable Bluetooth. I do all things in sercet menu like in your both videos. In mine tv menu a little bit different, and tv still dont find headphones, maybe you know something to explain?

Does this work with Samsun f8000 tv ? It was a top level Samsung tv but in 2012-2013..

My Samsung SmartTV UN55D8000YFXZA, Version H302. I was able to turn on the Bluetooth functions in the service menu, but they did not appear in the TV menu. What to do?
