Recommended voltage is 24-0-24 volts. Current, at least 5 amperes. Rca cable, the outer circular is the ground, or common the way you call it.

That's a great idea, but it will be better if the green board is replaced with red or relay board. It has more power

Bass is determined by numerous factors, 1 pre amp or equalizer 2. The amp itself 3. Current or power from transformer or power supply 4. The sub being used 5. And the most important is the subwoofer cabinet. If Your equalizer sub gain and frequency is operating normal, then it is fine, consider those other factors.
