Connecting Line Level Equipment to your Scarlett 2i2

I plug my keyboard into the line inputs 3 and 4 of Focusrite 8i6 and I never get a high enough audio level in my DAW compared to my microphones and guitars plugged into inputs 1 and 2 at the instrument level. Does anyone know how to fix this? If I boost the levels for the keyboard in my DAW, I get a lot of noise and humming.

Hi, thank you for reaching out, and apologies for the delayed response. inputs 3-4 on Scarlett 8i6 are fixed gain line inputs and are unable to provide additional gain. Please confirm that the outputs on your keyboard are line-level, and try to use functional, balanced TRS cables when connecting to your Scarlett.
