Hi Reggy, it's looking good, I thought of two ideas, 1. make some U brackets from some flat bar or 2. Extend the shelving so the shaft is under and then fit a thin strip of wood and put piece of thin ply under so the shaft is hidden. no mater what you do have fun doing it, catch you soon take care
