you don't need the goggles to make it work. just plug a usb c to your rc3 then connect it with the usb c of your latest android phone.

I tried to connect this DJI virtual flight app on my iPhone XR with my goggle 3 and controller 3. It wont connect. So its because its for android only? I really need to practice with controller before I fly with my avata 2 with new controller 3. I get bored with joystick already.

only the FPV RC3 will directly connect to your android phone via USB-C. there is no other way for the goggles 3 to work for this. if you want this feature, try to request DJI directly as I think they have abandoned this project already
