Namaste! Sewaro!! This video is a journey of connecting to my roots of Dhungesaghu, Taplejung in Nepal. After years of contemplation and planning, I finally made the trip in November 2023 with the help of a few friends and family. My Mother had recently passed away and I was super emotional throughout the journey. It's a heartfelt look into my life and how everything has come to a full circle after visiting Taplejung.

Sewaro and thank you so much, Malvika Didi. If we delve deeper, we might have different saino. It has always been my dream to visit my ancestors' place at least once in my lifetime. As a Wanem Fago, I can relate that my origin is the same as yours. I always dreamed of visiting Panchthar and Taplejung with my Baje, but sadly he is no longer with us, and I regret not taking him there when he was alive. However, after watching your documentary, I have decided that no matter what, I will make sure to visit those places, especially with my Boju.

Very good bahini.It was pleasure watching my village&my roots.In fact i was there when i was 13 yrs old kid.You're lucky that the road reaches to our village these days.I went to the village when the bus would go until Hile n from there i needed to walk 3 days&3 nights with that "kaade jutta".By the way that time was the time for snow.Hid daa hid daii snow parera bijok bhako thiyo.Tehi mathi khutta suniyera bijok pani bhako thiyo but i never gave up.Finally i reached my ancestors village.Keep uploading your videos.Eagerly waiting for your next video.

We had conducted a health camp back in 2072 at sankhu during my ug days in bpkihs dharan. We went through the same way you have travelled to dhungesanghu. People were making roads by their own hands at that time to connect dhungesanghu. Such a beautiful and majestic places terathum, shankhuwasubha and taplejung. Good to know that malvika Didi is also from that place too.

Malvika, I had the same feeling when I went to my village of my father and forefathers way back in the 1990s. It was a 2 day trek from Damak to Panchthar and stayed overnight on a lodge. I had never walked for so long in my life but the excitement to see the birth place of my father and grandfather kept me going. The simple dal bhat and green vegetables in the village were so delicious. Thanks for uploading the video and hope to see more in the days to come. Cheers and good luck
