This is so true. Church use God to avoid dealing with issues. Or when you are just talking and sharing someone always comes at you with a way to fix you or fix your situation or quotes scriptures, but you didn't ask for advise or to be fixed. Such a great honest and authentic talk about true connection. How to connect with integrity, honesty, modesty and being real. Thank you for this video!

As someone who grew up in a family that WAS a church as well, I carry a lot of relational baggage with people and church. I've always felt my need was too great for the Church. This was like a plunger to my clogged heart. I have a lot to work on!

Prise the lord when you ask God to show you your heart he will give you the truth and it will set you free so often l though I was doing the right thing and God said no it hurts but so jesus helps me to do less of me and more of him thanks for the blessings

I lost relationships with people due to misunderstandings. It's painful. Painful when friends call you and just blow up at me to the point it hurts and don't understand what happened. You try to understand and then we end of parting ways over something stupid. Women in Christ..so painful! I miss them at the same time it's hard to reach out

Some relationships that are totally toxic and dangerous, then that is the ones we have to sometimes walk away from. Just saying there are limits to what we should endure and some people are just crazy and all you can do is leave them to God, Amen? Even our grown children sometimes are just not able to hear anything from their rebellion and hostility. We stand back, but let them know we love them, no matter what they do or don't do. We can't control when people who act very aggressive or angry, just don't engage in that at all. There is a lot of that out there and there is need to be careful when you don't know someone. We are called to love but not to be abused is all i am trying to say. Some people think because I am a calm, peaceful Jesus lover, that I am an easy mark to abuse. I do not allow that and it's not okay EVER!

How did this sermon make you feel ? I had the feeling that Shawn wanted to deliver some quick information, and then get on an airplane. I know I will grow to like Shawn more over time. He is brilliant, and he has a lot to offer.

If you listen to his other sermons he gets excited and talks fast. I don't think he is rushing, I think he iys sor super excited. Sometimes there are time constraints put on speakers. Like you have 45 minutes etc...
