Always funny when Chris finds basically everything correctly, but refuses to enter it in, not to get a single error.

I usually see every category and every red herring and then refuse to enter anything. Chris has a great way of knowing the exact meaning of everything. 💀

How you deciphered the prank category in 30 seconds I'll never understand :D It took me so long and it was your first instinct. :D

Chris immediately seeing the pranks and going "maybe I'm reaching" made me chuckle, like you are absolutely *not* reaching. Thankfully he saw Moon and had a little more faith in the idea.

The ability you have to spot the purple category within seconds always baffles me.

I thought EGG, STORY, STREAK and MIRROR were all things that could be “cracked” or “broken”… totally backed in to the Prank Verbs

The NYT seems to like newspaper names. Haven't we had those just recently in Connections or Strands? I found the purple category easy because there aren't many ways to interpret toilet paper, and there were no other bathroom items other than mirror. Had a good chuckle at the start when Chris dismissed the pranks category.

got the film equipment first, struggled with the tiers because I don't spell the word story but storey! had a hard time with the pranks, even though my cousins did toilet-paper our Vespa many years ago in a camping site ....

They probably did that on purpose to trick you. If they spelled it the other way, it might make it too obvious.

Storey is British. Everywhere else is Story. They got me this way with Tyre and Tire not too long back.
@azrobbins01

@@MsRafanatic But does Storey also mean a tale, as opposed to a floor in Britain? I have only seen it written that way when talking about a written or spoken tale.

@@azrobbins01 In the US, STORY is spelled the same way whether it refers to a tale or a 10-story building.

@azrobbins01 2 ай бұрын
@@dora.7873 Right. In GB, though, is Storey used only to mean a floor in a building, or is it also used to describe a tale? I have only seen Storey to mean a floor in a building, not a tale.

I never really thought of streaking as a prank, but more of a sexual crime like public indecency or exposing yourself to minors if you did it during a ball game or something. Have you ever had anyone "streak you", and then be like, "Yeah, I got you good"?
@Chickenhouse577
@Chickenhouse577 2 ай бұрын
Yeah in the 70's, streaking was widely considered a joke. If you watch the incident at the Oscars, you can hear the audience laugh and cheering. That same year, Ray Stevens went all the way to #1 making fun of the prank with "The Streak." It's been used as a punchline welll into the 90's on comedies like Seinfeld or the American Pie films.

There can be nonsexual nudity. But if that's where your head's at perhaps you should avoid classical artworks as well.

Streaking in a large place like a stadium is not the same as exposing yourself directly to a minor. Even Americans aren't that prudish.

@@flyingzeppo Lacey Uthe was one. Christian Adamek was another, but killed himself before they prosecuted him. "A fifteen-year-old can be prosecuted as an adult for any offense in Alabama, which has some of the harshest and most extreme sex offense laws in the country, including lifelong registration on the sex offender registry and the imposition of registration and residency restrictions on people convicted of offenses involving nudity or sexual behavior not directed at particular victims. If convicted in adult court of a sex offense, Christian - despite the fact he was just 15 years old - would have been required to register as a sex offender on Alabama’s sex offender registry for the rest of his life.

I didn't know about that Alabama kid. Very sad. Alabama (and Mississippi) are widely considered (and the data backs it up) the most backwards states in the nation. I think most people would consider the way this was handled in Alabama to be despicable.
