I think when there's a bunch of blue + purple, they are what people tried not because people saw something, but because they already got yellow and green and they have no idea how to separate the last two. These are almost random, just grasping at straws.

I solved in the same order. ( misread Bugler as Burgler for at least half my time on the puzzle.)

Same with bugler, except I didn't catch my mistake. I got blue last without understanding the connection. 😅

People guessing Bugler because it sounds like a last name. Irons is less famous than the other three actors on the list. I reckon a lot of people haven’t heard of what a bugle is. Not as common as traditional instruments.
