Ponyboy FPV yes very fast. I hate then love then hate then love and finally get to a more stable opinion. then I make a video about it. unfortunately there is no perfect setup for anything. not even one that covers most bases. the sport is in its infancy still. much more to come.

Kabab FPV Yeah i just got it to play. Awesome Info!!!! I can't wait to FINALLY get mine going. where did you get your dvr recorder? also have you played with the height of your receiver? I have a 10 foot tripod I was thinking about mounting mine to in hopes that I would get better distance.

Nice review. Have you tried Clearsight? Be good to geet your thoughts on that. The problem with going Connex as a racer is you really need at least two or three systems as you can't rely on one quad.

Chris Morley I agree. I really want clearsight actually. it's just a bit pricy. I think if they made a $175-$200 option it would be really really super popular.

Definitely and perhaps if they could make it more portable. I've ordered a few hyperlite evos recently to go with the original frame.

B33SON yeah this was an invitation only event. I checked out the rest of CES too. wasn't actually that interesting.

I'm guessing your flying off the Dom v3s? I wonder what impact using a different set like the glyph goggles would have.

Siftyy yeah I use the Dom V3. when in HP or H+ mode, the Dom V3 is limited by it's shitty screen quality, not the resolution so much. the glyphs are a lot better however. better than the Vuzix for sure.

Kabab FPV I'm more so interested in the FOV difference of the two. While quality is great, like you said, more information is much more useful. I can't comment on either having only owned the Dom v3s.

Siftyy it's a bit more. nothing too drastic. the headplays have the hugest FOV you'll ever find most likely

Great video! One nit: 200 mw max, says the documentation. Considering that I'm amazed at the range I get.

kenkamm I believe it's 200mw within the required frequencies. it uses different levels when it's below 5.8 which it usually is.

thanks for your video- what's the range of the connex pro sight and does it blue screen when losing signal or still have static like analog? (the 1 second drop out doesn'yt sound fun though and surely can make the diference between crashing or not)- can you separate the connex prosight HD video feed gear for use on other quads or stuck with it with falcore only? Thank you

What lens are you using with HP mode? I can't find anything with a fov that feels "right".

Anthony Kuhns I agree. I'm using the stock lens which is around 2.4mm I feel. I would like a wider angle lens and that's what all the team pilots have told them too. it's not bad however. wider would just be a bit nicer.

Wonder if someone gets either Falcore or Draco and then decide to build a custom, IF the Connex could be EASILY swapped to a different quad... My guess is probably not since VTX will probably be integrated on another board, but that would be really cool. Could probably just buy another VTX though. Is the Ground Station the same on Falcore and/or Draco as the stand-alone ProSight?

+SuperDrones yes you can buy another camera/vtx and also it is not integrated into one board. You can remove the setup from either craft pretty easily. I particularly like the Draco

Kabab FPV yeah I like the look of the Draco too. Being able to potentially and economically use the ProSight on multiple rigs is an attractive value proposition. Falcore/Draco have the potential of being the Phantom equivalents for FPV.

SuperDrones yeah the Falcore can definitely be the phantom of FPV. the Draco is more of a true racer. of course neither one will perform like my own quads but it would be really nice not to have to build anything anymore.

Whats the realistic range on this setup in 200mw?

? 200mw? It varies it's power output from 200-800mw I believe. The range is maybe 1-1.5km LOS. It's excellent until it's not. I wouldn't recommend it for acro other than close range acro. It's unbeatable for racing however. Zero video issues once setup.

danidroidfpv it changes from camera to camera. they're all made to a different specification and all the camera sensors are a little different.

It needs to mature more. Price is way too high and the gear is huge. I'm not a fan of the inverted arrestor hook (read: antenna) either. That's either getting torn off or slinging you straight into the ground first gate you catch.

True enough. It does look very nice and 60p picture over 30i NTSC would look very smooth. As a long time gamer, high framerate and consistent smooth picture are a massive advantage. Are you tired of building just due to the downtime, and would just prefer to buy a quality modular RTF and just fly?

So do you use this on the daily now.. Tax time is coming bro and I really would like a new setup to take my fpv to that level. Im sure over time analog will be obsolete and be phased out. If you use this on the daily then I might seriously drop the cash but if you still choose analog over digital I will probably wait at least for the nextgen

na I don't use every day. I don't even get a chance to fly every day. It's a bit cumbersome to lug the ground station around so I usually only use it when I actually make an effort to go fly. Otherwise a few packs here and there is not enough to set it all up and break it down.

Kabab FPV i am thinking about Progressive, do the digital system support it? Interlacing is not that good. You talked about interlacing, and that surely makes the quality bad.

LordGryllwotth yeah that's why they made the H+ mode but the FOV is just too narrow on the H+ mode so I gotta use the HP mode. at 60fps it doesn't look like it's any worse than H+ in terms of quality
