Connie Han is a genius carrying the torch for jazz with deep artistic expression that transcends cultural boundaries. I was so close to interviewing her for my upcoming doc on women in jazz. We missed each other by a matter of hours... I hope the opportunity comes up again!

I (we) thoroughly enjoy her playing and her presentation, it’s of the highest level. Sure there’s nothing new under the sun, but she is preserving the relevance of jazz in a time when most of the older generation of players is disappearing. I have absolutely no problem with what she is throwing down, Viva Connie Han!
