Today we are going to look at what I think could be an Enterprise Refit X Class.
Yes, we've seen the Federation Class before, but this is different.
In terms of 3 nacelles Connie Refits this is the best i've seen.
Today we are going to have a Kobayshimaru against 3 Romulan Crickets.
I didn't quite expect the ending!

😨Hey Admiral.. gosh ok Connie Refit X, wow.. Interesting design.. I don't love it but don't hate it either.. hmm hard to say.. but the collision eeh, with 2 warp cores, I always wonder whom is in charge of engineering lol. Yes those blue torpedoes sound nice.. almost like fireworks lol. Yes Admiral, the ship needs better shields.. have the power, but hmm. So Chang was in his cloaked ship watching lol. Eeh and the replay gosh, one shot, unreal. those Crickets are wicked for sure.. love the battle Admiral!!!😊🖖

Two engineering sections, they should be running dual warp cores and that means you SHOULD be able to pull power from both when using weapons and shields. Design-wise, it wouldn't make sense to have two secondary hulls unless it was for a very specific reason.

Nixe Showcase! The models of the Monitor and Virginia (the names I have assigned then) were made by yoyopop 19 years back out of P81/Rick Knox Connie parts and available on Gamefront to mod. The hull markings are planned to be revised with registry textures by KCS, and some minor variants to be made to each one. Also see the KM build that incluses support for Autotargeting scripting😂

Somehow two engineering sections look wrong. I can live with that 3rd warp nacelle. The weapons pod on the saucer fits in quite well.

The pylons just don't look right on that thing. It's an awesome ship but the nacelle configuration is kind of goofy. It needs the Belknap type pylons with the 3rd nacelle below the line of sight of the torpedo launcher.

considering those plasma torpedoes are capable of one shotting space stations, i'd say the Monitor's shields are fantastic to take one and only collapse the shield, with minimal hull damage

Some of the kitbash ships do look a bit garish and wrong but this one looked really good. Might be because the Connie refit is so pretty anyway, you're just adding more as stuff that looks good.

The wings on the cricket appear to be swept upward too far. I have a model of the original Romulan ship, and the wings are much lower in profile. Is this a different ship?

The nacelles need to be changed for two up one down so the aft torpedo launcher are not blocked. Also remember that you have 14 phaser emitters on the ventral side of that ship.

My recent comment got me thinking. Is the Mars Verteron Array, or some other form of orbital defense platform, available as a mod in "Star Trek: Bridge Commander"? 6:45 Well, the plasma weapon was capable of destroying the "Star Fleet Technical Manual" Starfleet Headquarters. What did you expect?

The Connie X design would make more sense if the two engineering sections were hard-welded together instead of both flapping in the breeze, also the Miranda-style dorsal weapons pod would fire directly into the third nacelle's bussard collector, seems a poorly though out choice. Cool sounding phasers though.

It's an interesting design as you said unworthy of the x designation seems to only have one warp core if they were to fix that doubling its shield and output it would at least be worthy of its name it heavily underperformed I'm really tired of seeing the double hull designs they are interesting but I really would like to see something more original

The Refit could take a shot and survive w/ shields not failing from V'Ger but not a 10 year out of date TOS Cricket?!?! Ugliest Connie Var I've seen. Belknap nacelle strut placement would have looked better.

Honestly....don't really care for the design of this ship. It's like it's trying to be a knock off of the Refit Triple nacelle Federation class...with an overkill. If the nacelles were turned around the right way...then maybe it might be better... This was a fun match though.

Yarp, the model was made with old P81 Connie Refit parts (well, old NOW, the model was made 19 years ago), and P81 resolution makes texture rework a fun time. Thanks to KCS who is working on registry texture updates for the Monitor and her sister class, the Virginia😅

Monitor class I hate it Miranda roll bar in front of a warp drive Nassau absolutely stupid idea as for romulan ramming tactics clearly you don't play Starfleet battles because it's a absolutely typical romulan tactic always have if they had to use a Miranda class quote roll bar it should have been on the bottom between the two engineering Halls which is also in my opinion is stupid idea by the way, just where is that third engine connected ?
