I'd give almost anything to go back to when I discovered this song. I hadn't heard of Connie until right when this video came out, Inner Beauty was probably the third song I'd heard by her. I was completely blown away, by the honesty, cleverness, and originality of it.

Many of these are on her Personal You Tube Channel, "ConnieTalbotOfficial". Other original songs written by Connie will be on a new Album Connie is releasing very shortly (in 2015).

Connie has written songs, likes Taylor Swift, and is a fairly deep person. However, she did not write this particular song. It was written by songwriters Judie Tzuke, Bailey Tzuke, and Graham Kearnes, with Connie being the first singer to record it. Connie continues to write, but it is not surprising she would use good songs from other writers. We should see several of her own songs on the next album, which is #5 within a few months.
