Connie, the song hasn't even finished playing and I can already tell you this is one of the best songs you've done in quite a while. Fits your range perfectly and has a really nice jazz/soul feel to it. I think you need to invest more time into writing and singing songs in this field. I LOVED IT! Sounds like a timeless R&B song. This song is like a new classic! I can flash back to a drive in restaurant in the 50's or 60's and hear this song on the car radio for the first time. It's getting a lot better. The vocal track here is very good, strong and bright. There is an arrangement and it's sounds like a smokey song from the 50's with 4 guys in white suits as a group. So it was cool. Introducing a song structure is important. Bending a melody to fit sentences is a common DIY issue but here the structure rules so thumbs for that.

My brain got electrified by this moving lovely song. I had similar situation few years earlier, but opposite. Here in the US we girls all too often move to that guys apartment, believing blue-eyed that everything will continue just 'happily forever after'. Then when the tears of teared break-up came, it was me (or any girl doing this ways), who had to pack. In anger we often leave much of own stuff there; Done that! Connie's version "This is My House" is better part; guys anyways have lesser stuff and their TVs and Stereos they can take another time, lol. We shalt be careful, especially anyone under 20 / too blue-eyed even older ones.
