Hi Connie, I just want to say that I’ve never thought you were too slow speaking. Your pace of talking is lovely and calm. It also helps because I struggle with auditory processing and often need subtitles. I’m 36, I love your videos and you look gorgeous at 48!

Yes..as an Asian it is sometimes painful to listen to Americans talk..high pitch, very fast n loud n kind of nervous n would make me have anxiety n fast breathing..unlike American youtubers, most (not all) Asian youtubers either don't speak at all or speak very little n the volume is slower...that' why I choose to listen to American youtubers who only speak softly like Dr Berg, Cottage Fairy etc.. however, this is only my personal preference..

I think you are one of the classiest women I have ever witnessed on KZbin or any other social media venue. Possibly because you are so true to yourself and the people you interact with yet you are never trying to be someone else. There is to much jealousy in our world today and you have done the hard work of excepting yourself right where you are in life and where you want to be. I look forward to your videos and meditation channel each week. Can’t wait to hear about your next adventure.

That was fun! As I watched & listened to this, I realized that I never had any questions in the past while watching your videos. I just focused on the messages. I never thought that you spoke slowly and many other things that were brought out through people's questions. I'm 68 and embraced my silver & dark brown hair later in life. I'm so much happier accepting it's natural color. I wear it below my shoulders and often wear it in a loose French braid. I often get many compliments on my hair from all age groups, which at first, shocked me! Ladies, don't be afraid of changes in your hair (my unsolicited suggestion). But those who would rather color it, I support you.

I love the pacing of your speech, as it is calming and easy to comprehend and to be present with you. As someone else stated, I feel other youtubers speak much too quickly and edit their videos to cut out any natural breaks. Keep doing what you’re doing. 😊

It’s refreshing to hear an American talk in a more controlled way. As a UK citizen I find many Americans tend to talk very fast in fractured sentences and don’t take a breath in between. It can be exhausting listening sometimes. If you want to hold an audiences attention this is the way to do it and I love your attitude to life.

First time watching your video . I really like the idea of being minimalist. I have over the last couple of years let alot of things go that have lost any meaningful in my life. And it felt so good. As soon as it gets warmer out I'm going through my garage and seriously down sizing all my huge collection of Christmas decorations.and any other holiday stuff. I have decided after 45 years Im so done. It's amazing how easy it is to let go. My best accomplishment I've done yet was redecorate my kitchen and dining room and the living room just by moving things around from one room to another. I love how it turned out.

Thank you Connie, for sharing so much about you. It actually helps to hear how different people cope with the social pressures, and busyness of life. Your calm, kind demeanour resonates with me, but I worry I am a long way from getting there. As I hear you talk in your videos about working toward goals, it makes me think that I need to sit down and set some concrete goals. Thanks for the “nudge”. I just discovered your beautiful and inspiring videos. What I love the most about your message is you making it clear that there is not one way of doing things. I am not a minimalist myself but I dislike clutter and like a clean and serene house. Having read about minimalism out of curiosity I have found that it often becomes a kind of fanatic religion and almost an obsession. To me the way to follow is the middle way which differs for everyone. Living in Israel in a city in the middle of the desert, I feel like jumping into your gorgeous snow landscapes and rolling myself in the snow😂. Thank you so much. I wish you the best of health.

Would love it if you made monthly Q&A videos like this. And I would totally buy your book if you decided to write one. ❤️

I'm catching up on your videos as I'm a fairly recent subscriber (from Aotearoa/New Zealand) I enjoyed this session. I never think of you as a slow speaker. Rather you communicate with calm. Many 'presenters' speak in a hyped manner, which tires me out, so I never persist with those. Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom with us.

I enjoy your content very much. Your voice is very calming and soothing. I am very impressed with your life’s balance and lessons in which you provide to us. I wish I looked as good as you do especially when we are the same age! Your beautiful! As for the hair I have in the last year started to embrace my natural color too. It is starting to show grays as well. But due to cost anymore I don’t feel I need to invest my money into coloring it atleast in a salon. If I feel the need to add color I will use a box color and do it myself.

Before I became unwell, I walked around the lake and did yoga everyday. I miss it so much but love watching you out in nature and listening to your messages. This was a great video, it was like sitting having a chat with a friend. Though I would’ve asked, why do other people talk so loud and fast? 😁😆I love your beautiful calm voice and never considered it slow at all. 🥰💕

YT recommended your channel today, thank you YT! You seem like a kindred spirit. I can relate to everything you've shared and it's very comforting. The grays are coming and I cut my own hair as well. I go from a pixie cut and grow it to your style before trimming again. I'm a lifelong walker and love to stretch and meditate. We too eat a healthy diet and we grow a garden in our backyard. I'm so very interested to see your future adventures. Wishing you (and anyone reading this comment) nothing but the best.

Thank you very much for this Q & A (some of the questions made me laugh and a few of them had my mouth dropping open! LOLLL. You're a great sport. You answered them anyways! LOLLL) I am now ready to face the busyness again...all the while doing my breathing technics and going over many of the things you shared with us here. Thank you again 🙏❤

Regarding "speaking slowly" @ 2:10 in this video. I think your pace is perfect. Too many presenters and KZbinrs speak too fast, in my opinion, and they often try to edit their material so tightly that it sounds like they don't even want to allow a space to take a breath out of fear their viewers will bail on them, if heaven forbid, there is a tiny gap in the sound. Your pace allows your thoughts to "land" in the viewers' minds (which is great) versus rushing along to the next point at breakneck speed.

You are soooooo beautiful, inside and out! About 40 days ago I started to do my yoga routine and meditation. I made it a daily habit, most of the time at the same time. It makes me feel incredibile. Yes, please, please write a book, I live the idea! Thanks again for all the positivity you put out there.
