Good for you! I have been doing mine for years after bad haircuts and perms. I started going gray at 30. Colored it for a long time but hated the roots showing up so quickly!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS VIDEO….and NO JEANS! Looks like all beautiful natural materials-linens /cottons (I would add cashmere and wool for winters where I live)….no polyester-I have too much of that and going to be phasing out polyester out of my wardrobe

Having A busy life as a single mom, and as a preschool teacher, peace is something hard to find. Lately I have been saying no to a lot of things and some people don't understand. I am craving nature and peace. As soon as I find a moment it seems an adult child is on the phone. I know they need an ear to listen to their troubles, but ...... They are still in that hurry scary mode. They don't understand yet. At times I feel I must fight for my peace. But I'm going to keep trying for it.

Me too. It's hard to find peace when you are working in school as a teacher. My mind is full of chaotic schedules of every day teaching. I want to resign but i can't afford not to have a job now because i have a son to feed

Your videos on slow living are absolutely captivating. I admire your dedication to sharing such a unique lifestyle with us all. I'm still at the beginning of my own channel where I also explore similar themes, but with just a handful of views and 50 subscribers, it can be disheartening at times. Seeing your content gives me hope and motivation to continue creating and sharing my own experiences. Thank you for the inspiration and keep up the fantastic work!

Aww! Thank you so much. I completely understand how disheartening YT can be. It took me 2.5 years to get 1,000 subscribers. If you love the message you are putting out into the world, don't give up. Sending you thoughts of continued success and happiness.

I like what you said how it is not possible to give what you don't have. I feel that is what my mom does. She is 74 and has a very full schedule always but is worn out and says how tired she is. I am always telling her to take a week to just rest and not see people, but she doesn't do it. Then she tells me she doesn't have time to clean her cluttery house. . .but she does if she makes time to. I have offered to help her too. I love nature's beauty so much! I love the walking stick! How cute!

I LOVE this video! I can relate to literally everything! Thank you so much! I started slowing down as I was eating last week and started to take note of every flavor and texture. I enjoyed it so much more than I would have if I just gobbled it up! So, I am starting to make slow living a lifestyle and, hopefully someday, I can work for myself and not for anyone else. THANKS AGAIN!

I am a mom to one son. He is 38. He moved out 2 years ago. Now he is a newlywed to the most precious young woman. I have survived Stage Two Esophageal Cancer, Last December I went into respiratory failure because of living in an old house full of black mold. I did a MAJOR declutter and moved into a 2 bedroom apartment. I actually enjoy getting up and cleaning and tidying up my house now. I’m going back to Bible Study and studying at home. I still have bouts with anxiety and depression but it’s getting better. I feel so much peace. ❤️🙏🏻✝️

As a mother of four daughters who are now 25 to 33, your comment about learning the value of the little things only when each one of your children flew the nest has been a sorrow that I have felt and wanted to share with others younger than me. I’ve lost time on unimportant things… today I do treasure my time with my adult children and boy what a lesson we’ve learned in this busy culture of ours. Young women young mothers listen slow down don’t sign up for everything. Don’t equate your value with your busyness. It is a curse and it is a lie, slow down look at your children in their eyes, smile when they enter a room ,sit down in the afternoon and have that cup of tea you do not have to be going going going all the time to prove that you are worthy!! You are a treasure!❤
