Maybe they need a different backup but Pickard has shown them no reason he should be replaced either. Really the only thing this team is missing is a true 1st line right shot D - Ceci is more of a 2nd/3rd pairing guy.

oilers had a lot of bad line changes, and bad/lazy positioning... & just plain coasting on checking plays. So glad the neu coach is uilling to fix that - even if there is uorry of being less of a friend u players. Prev coach uoodcroft put a lot of effort on being seen as a friend by players so they have been going thru a shock

As a former hockey player (obviously I didn't play pro) I can personally say there was nothing I hated more than having team mates who had the same kind of attitude as you. It always brought tension and made everyone in the locker room feel like they had to watch what they say. It felt like you were walking on eggshells. Guys don't like having team mates who have that sort of mindstate. Look what happens to players that act that way in the NHL. when Evander Kane played on Winnipeg he had your kind of mindstate. You know what the jets did to him? They threw all his clothes in the shower after a game. That's why Evander Kane wanted to leave

Crosby was drafted into the league playing with guys like Malkin, Letang, and Fleury. Mackinnon had Makar, Rantanen, Landeskog. 😂😂😂 McDavid was playing with Nail Yakupov and scrubs. Put McDavid on the Avs and they win every year.

Tell me you don't watch McDavid without telling me. He has said countless times, he could care less about individual records. His play in the playoffs the last 3 years shows he's figured out how the game needs to be played in the post season. If the rest of the team can do that, they are contenders.
