How do you adjust the focus at the same time ?

First and foremost, thank you for this video, and in the manual, it says, "Determine the latitude of your observing location from a road map, atlas, or the Latitude chart for major cities of the world, provided in your ETX manual. Loosen the latitude control latch and adjust the latitude control bar so that your observing site's latitude is just visible above the flat surface of the tripod head. Retighten the latch." So what I don't understand is that the guy demonstrating says to align the North leg with the North Star, and to have the actual telescope in the same position, and so what I don't understand is the above what I typed, about determining the Latitude, and Clearwater, FL Latitude is supposedly 27.972572, and being how I have the #884 Tripod, am I supposed to tilt it? The #884 is a little different, but if I was to do so then it'd be not pointing exactly how he has it in this video. ANY help you could provide me would be so much appreciated, cause I unfortunately only get my boys every other weekend, and I'd love to be able to show them how this works exactly, and let them hear how the remote talks and all that fancy stuff. Also not sure, but by the looks of it and the jet overhead, I have a felling you may be local, in which case I'd be willing to pay this guy to come over and teach me some things on this before I get my boys!! Anything you could help with would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I cannot get mine aligned. Its just the DS2000 Autostar. The remote etc same. So when you say North leg of the tripod i dont know what you mean. I just make sure it it facing north and is perfectly horizontal. Then it is never near 1st star. The smal alignment movement isnt enough movement to locate vega etc.

The top of one of the tripod legs should have the letter "N" on it. Use the compass on your phone and align that leg north.
