My youngest was born the week before Lianas due date so I’m in the weeds with you two. I use this as a gauge to feel normal about the day to day experience. 6 weeks and sleeping through the night. What a dream! Glad to see your milk supply is up. Don’t worry about the messy house. It’s just something that happens with a newborn. I did have a house cleaner the first two months and it helped tremendously. I remember those first days of motherhood. I miss them so much. 19 years later and I’m shocked at how fast it went. Enjoy every second of these precious days. You guys are doing a fantastic job!

@@nemigrimes7801 I haven’t heard her say why. She did mention putting him to the breast and not establishing a good latch. That’s a possible reason, but I don’t know. My son was nil by mouth for a few weeks and I had to do this. It was exhausting!! That’s why her dedication amazes me.

What really helped me produce enough milk was soup. My friend started it and it worked so well I just kept it up. I’d make a big pot of veggies & chicken homemade soup and drink a big mug of it every time I was going to feed the baby. Drink lots of water also. Had so much milk there was never a problem getting enough for the baby

I have also watched a ton of the routine with baby videos & I always thought the exact same thing when I watched them! But THIS is so much more realistic & completely relatable! I love that you guys are so down to earth & genuine. Am i a good parent? Am I a good partner? We can give ourselves such a hard time. Forget about all of that and just enjoy him and this time you have with him. Before you know it he’ll be running around and off to school. It goes so fast. So forget the mess and just have the cuddles. I’d take that any day over house cleaning lol 🥰

As a mother of 4 myself please know that as long as your home isn’t a health hazard & your’s is not, my advice (not that you’ve asked for it) is to continue to put baby first. They’re only little for a short time so these moments are to be treasured. I just love you guys & your honesty about your home makes me giggle because I recently became a grandma & guess who’s house is a pit when we get to have our grandchildren!😂 Who cares about clutter when you’re blessed with the most precious little human. Can’t believe Koazy is 6 weeks already, before you know it he’ll be singing the abc’s 🤣 Koazy in that safari outfit it so freaking cute, feels like yesterday he was born. Can’t wait to be here on the journey with you, so proud of you both. I love how you aren’t afraid to show how newborn life isn’t perfect and that it’s ok to be messy because it is the newborn life and that’s what happens. Liana is doing amazing on her recovery and so is Connor, as being someone who has been apart of the CL Fam for a couple of years now, I can’t believe how far you’ve come, I can still remember when you announced the pregnancy, when Connor asked Lianna to be his gf and I couldn’t be more happy for you too, next journey : Koazy’s first birthday and hopefully Connor and Liana getting married 🤞🏻 Love you guys, so proud of you both. This is so authentic I love it! So relatable. I feel like a lot of the day in the life with newborns are not realistic. The moms are always done up with makeup, etc. They always look like models and such but it's not realistic whatsoever. It's like they are putting on a show, not real everyday life.
