The "main" channel put out much less content this year, only 13 videos compared to 2022's 21 videos, and *5* of this years 13 videos were crane game videos, two of which were back to back. Considering the lower output and less variety when compared to previous years, it kinda feels like Connor's planning to slowly retire that channel and make this one the main one.

When TeamFourStar did a Nuzlocke for Sun/Moon release: that was the gimmick for their character, Larenti. Since their DS was in Japan Time. There is a phenomenon where skilled chess players can lose against new players because they are used to seeing high skill plays and are prepared to counter them, but are completely flabbergasted by the nonsensical moves of a newer player and their preparation is turned against them. Magnus Carlson often does inoptimal moves specifically to force opponents out of their practiced moves and make them actually play the game as a matter of skill, where he tends to excel and his opponents tend to be out of their comfort zone. Anyways that’s why I think Connor had a harder time than expected on the first matchup.
